Warkworth
Golf Club lies on the coast of Northumberland in an area of outstanding natural
beauty and is also a triple site of Special Scientific Interest. The closest
towns are Amble to the South and Alnwick to the North.
From the
north, take the A1 south to Alnwick, then the A1068 heading towards Alnmouth.
Stay on the A1068 to Warkworth. Turn
left up the hill just before crossing the River Coquet.
From the
south, take the A1 north, turning right for Amble at the B6345. Travel through
West and East Thirston to Acklington, then turn left for Warkworth. Go through
the village centre and over the River Coquet bridge. Take the first turning right after the
bridge.
Travel up the
hill and follow the road round to the left to the clubhouse – there is a turn
off for Warkworth Beach before the entrance to the clubhouse.
There is extensive parking in front of the
Clubhouse for use by golfers and visitors.
